As mentioned in the last fantasy post, I've been working on stubby little dwarves. Here are some photos of the "army" in its current state.
The force so far is the basic contents of the newish starter box for The Old World though I've gone ahead and swapped out one gyrocopter for a Dwarf King from the Skull Pass set.
So with this, we're ready to play some games. I've already looked ahead a bit towards a couple of the other rule sets and have noticed there will be a few things I need to add. I'm still going to be starting with Old World but am forming a bit of a plan to try other games sooner. I set out originally planning to just commit to these square bases and not think twice about it but as I've been doing rules research I'm much less sure I'm going to like the old world enough to make this the one I've commited to. Well see.
Next fantasy posts will probably be another subject though I already have more dwarves on the bench.
